Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards exactly, jej that's why you will need an entourage and when you decide to try this escape be ready to get caught/offloaded.

Actually po we are leaving as a family. My husband and 1yr old son. As of now we are in contact of an atty working in the legal dept of poea to advocate for our request. He also suggested to exit the country na lang as tourist instead o waiting for agency kasi tagal daw na proceso. We're actually confused on what to do. Either do it the legal way or bypass the poea system.

decisions decisions. uprooting a whole family and migrating to a country is something that needs to be pondered upon why don't you guys go on a family vacation maybe to Singapore and think things through.

Our case is that, We processed our NZ work visa here in SG since I am still working here in SG & it also makes sense to process from SG. We'll just be exiting from the Philippines para maka bisita muna with Families as it maybe some time before we are able to visit again.
Has anyone ever had this case before...
Thanks...

ichabodcraine I think there is no bearing as to where you got your NZ visa. When you exit the Philippines you will still likely be asked the same requirements like PDOS. Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

ModM; yeps... we called POEA... we'll still have to get the exit clearance... we'll need to submit our job offer doc, employment agreement (for evaluation daw)... it's the evaluation part that worries me, di ko kasi malaman-laman anong klaseng eval gagawin... this articles subject appears to be similar to my case: newsinfo.inquirer.net/21871/exit-clearance-an-ofw%E2%80%99s-nightmare... and there's always this lump on my throat that I just don't trust the our processes & bureaucracy. all these processes are like deterrents for us to look for better lives elsewhere...

ichabodcraine, I feel you kapatid. Nung umuwi kami last March for Holiday (para sunduin na din mga anak namin) nag-iba na naman yung sistema nila. Tinanggal nila yung express lane para sa balik manggagawa for this OEC, maski na same employer. Pipila kang napakahaba kasama ng mga bagong OFW para maassess yung papers mo to pay this small piece of paper. Ang malupet pa nun mid last year Php900 yata ang PhilHealth then bago matapos ang taong 2013 more than 2k na sya. May pagkakaiba man pero syang-sya.

It pays to sacrifice and not go back to the Philippines while still on NZ Work Visa. Wait until you become a NZ Resident, then you can come home, attend PDOS, no need for OWWA/OEC.

(have the docs naman although, since the visa was processed here in Singapore... the job offer & employment agreements are not authenticated at NZ PH embassy and it has no repatriation clause in case i die there)

ichabodcraine ang assess nila kasama dyan is kung may repatriation clause. Check mo again discussion above para ano gawin if wala yun. Mas hassle kasi ibalik sa employer to insert it. Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

It is assumed na uuwi ka after studying.
My sons were on student visa (domestic) at di sila pinagPDOS.

Hello all. Nung nagPDOS kami may mga nakasabay kaming nag PDOS na student visa and work visa. Ang sabi kasi nung speaker ng seminar, kapag ang pinakapurpose is to reside eventually in NZ, then need mag PDOS. If I remember it correctly, iyong work visa holder under partnership kaya pinagPDOS siya kasi nga ang plan niya ay mag apply ng residency din in the future. We attended PDOS early 2013. Puwede ka tumawag or mag e-mail sa CFO and mag inquire para sure krystyn.

@krystyn, palagay ko may point si db kasi sa case ko I have to go back (Philippines) after studying because that is one of the condition sa scholarship kaya di ako pinag PDOS. Pero dahil mayayaman kayo =) at kayo ang magfifinance ng studies nyo at eventually mag apply kayo for graduate job search visa baka kaya kayo need magPDOS. Assessment ko lang po yun. =)

dinoette are you attending sa CFO na PDOS? So nabago na schedule nila? May Saturday na? From their website ang PDOS for Australia and NZ happens on Tuesdays and Fridays only at 2-4PM. Pakiclarify naman kasi I plan to undergo PDOS sa August 29. Salamat Eto yung link ng PDOS Schedule sa CFOOr are you referring to a PDOS na gagawin ng agency which helped you apply for your student enrolment and visa? Paclarify lang kasi baka malito yung iba. As it is I am confused kasi I don't think that CFO is open on Saturdays. Very few government offices are.
